COURSE STRUCTURE
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
- Candidates will be able to assess, plan and execute appropriate surgical techniques to place single and multiple (2-3) implants in non-aesthetic critical areas
- Become familiar with general surgical principles, including medical history, anatomy, flap design, suturing and basic surgical instrumentation in relation to dental implants
- Familiar with different drilling protocols, and how both implant and patient factors can impact on drilling protocols

Oral Surgery Basics – incision, flap design and sutures
Drilling Protocol for different Implants
Pig jaw Practice
DAY 3 – OSTEOTOMY
Implant Design and its Surgical and Restorative Impact
Free hand drilling protocol and angle correction
Digital Treatment Planning and Surgical guides
Timing of implant placement and basic concepts for grafting
Model Practice
This course will teach you generic concepts of all implant systems
rather than a cook-book to a specific implant system.

Dr Hong currently works in private practice focusing only on Implant dentistry. He is a co-founder and principal dentist of Experteeth Dental, which runs a chain of over 30 clinics across multiple states. He regularly runs lectures for various implant companies and trains dentists for implant surgeries.
DR BERWYN LIU
BDSc, GradDipClinDent (Surgical Dentistry), FIADFE
Dr Berwyn is a partner dentist at Experteeth Dental and principal dentist at Elevate Dental Group. Driven by his profound passion for surgical dentistry, Dr. Berwyn undertook post-graduate training in the field and currently focuses his practice within implants, full-arch implant rehabilitations, wisdom teeth surgery and other minor oral surgery procedures. Dr Berwyn works in private practice and is actively involved in mentoring and teaching recent graduate dentists.
